During Legacy Action week, our charities will be hosting a range of events including a series of DEDTALKS, to help you get to know them better. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the importance of writing a Will and how you can leave a gift to your chosen charity or charities.

Sir Peter Thornton, a distinguished legal expert and author of The Later Years: The Simple Guide to Organising the Rest of Your Life, offers an informative and accessible guide to later life, outlining the practical steps older people can take to put their affairs in order.​ The first in a series of our DEDTALKS, this event is free to attend but please book your place in advance via the button below.

A free mental health walk with our team giving you the opportunity to learn more about our work and the way a gift in your Will could make a difference to local young people.

Everything You Wanted To Know About Wills But Were Too Afraid To Ask.
The popular Legacy Action Week drop-in event will return in 2026, giving you the chance to seek expert advice. Legacy Action Week charities and legal experts will be on hand throughout the day to talk about the impact a legacy can have and answer your questions. Visitors will also be able to attend a series of short DEDTALKS, designed to demystify the process of making a Will.​ No booking needed. Just pop in and say hello.
